Sacred Bear/Power 24, Hailey Hotel 16

Power erupted for 13 runs on 14 hits in its first two at-bats for an early 13-7 lead. In the 7-run second, Power had three HRS—by Gio Tognoni (2 hits, 3 runs), Jim Bradley (5 hits, 3 runs) and Ben Bainbridge (3 hits, 3 runs, 5 RBI). Hotel made it a game and seized the lead 16-14 in the middle innings, but Power put it away with a 9-run fifth that featured a 2-run double by Bainbridge. Power: Jason Marenda 3 hits and 3 runs, Jamie Stone 4 hits (double) and 4 runs, Jamie Ulrich 3 hits, 3 runs and 3 RBI. Hotel: Riley O'Grady 4 hits (2-run HR), 2 runs and 4 RBI, Kellen Chatterton 2 hits (HR) and 3 runs, Doug Story 3 hits (double) and 2 runs, Joe Molyneux 3 hits (double), 3 runs and 3 RBI.

Buddy Peterson smacked a 2-run HR in the 6-run 7 Dog first, one of three 6-run innings for the league champs. 7 Dog Ranch: T.J. Peterson 3 hits (HR, 2 doubles, 5 RBI), Joe LaManna 3-run HR, Morgan Uhrig 3 hits (triple) and 2 runs, Lisa Vadalma 2 hit and 3 runs. Redfish (4 hits): Greg solo HR.

Peterson Bros./B&T Const. 9, Mahoney's/Silver Dollar 6

Peterson extended its 5-4 lead with a 4-run sixth featuring a leadoff single by Milton Brooks (2 hits, 3 runs), RBI doubles by Mike Beall and Kolby Peterson and 2-run single by Brandon Beall (2 hits). Matt Zachary socked a 2-run HR for Mahoney's. Peterson Bros.: Lacey Munoz double and 2 runs, Tracy Peterson RBI double. Mahoney's: Kim Meyers 3 hits and 2 runs.

Sacred Bear/Power 12, Cups and Bras 11

Having hit a rough patch after a strong start, Sacred Bear/Power needed a big win before the tournament and got it with 7 runs in the last two at-bats. Trailing 4-2 and 7-4 in the early frames, Power struck for 4 runs in the fifth, Geo (2 hits, 2 runs) cracking a 2-run double, and added 3 more in the sixth for a 12-8 lead behind doubles by Kyle Bennett (4 hits, 2 doubles, 3 runs) and Jamie Ulrich (2 runs). Ben Bainbridge brought home the decisive 2 runs when his 2-out fly ball was mishandled in the outfield. Cups and Bras rallied from the bottom of its batting order with 3 runs in the visitor seventh but stranded the potential tying and go-ahead runs in scoring position. Sacred Bear/Power: Richard Ulrich 2 hits and 2 runs, Jason Marenda 2 hits, Jamie Stone 2 runs. Cups and Bras: Ryan Stavros 4 hits (2 doubles) and 4 runs, Kenny Nelson 3-run HR, Tom Moreland 3 hits, Brenda Blackwell and Shanell Nelson 2 hits apiece, Matt Nelson 2 hits (double) and 3 RBI.
