Woman injured in motorcycle crash

Bellevue resident Janine Bear treated and released at St. Luke’s

Bellevue resident Janine Bear was treated and released at St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center after being injured Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident near Clayton in Custer County.

The Custer County Sheriff's Office reported Monday that Bear suffered a broken collarbone.

Information was still being compiled in the case and only an initial investigation report was available. According to the report, the accident occurred near milepost 214 on state Highway 75 between Stanley and Clayton. The Sheriff's Office was notified around 2 p.m.

The report stated that Bear was transported to the hospital by private vehicle.

Bear is a real estate consultant in the Hailey office of Sotheby's International.
