Brighten up the visitor center

I recently spent three days traveling from Lexington, Ky., through West Virginia and Virginia and on to Washington, D.C. I stopped at every visitors center in every small town. Each one was outstanding and so informative, with maps, information on points of interest, posters of sights in the area and on and on. They were easy to find with signs showing the way from the moment you entered the town until you found the center. Bright and cozy to be in and they don't even have a Starbucks within them.

It is very sad that Ketchum's visitor center is dark, hard to find and always looks closed. Why haven't the windows been stripped yet—did not the URA vote to spend money on this? With the summer almost over, it only goes to show how mismanaged our city and URA officials are in the way they operate.
