Elizabeth (Highberger) Korb peacefully passed away on July 5, 2011. She was blessed with a wonderful life of 96 years.
Betty, as she was known to her family and friends, was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mesker Korb. She is survived by her children, Mary Beth (Malcolm) Rosen, Robert (Carol) Korb, Daniel Allen (Missy) Korb and Barbara Mollineaux; five grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Danielle, Lindsay and Robert; one great-grandchild, Molly; and many nieces and nephews.
She lived in Colorado for all her life except for the past eight years when she moved to Hailey, Idaho, to be closer to family. Betty was an artist, a teacher and a world traveler, and was involved in many charity organizations. Her legacy of helping others will be treasured by her family and by her vast circle of friends. Betty loved the mountains and was always ready for a new adventure. She loved life and was cherished by her family. She will be profoundly missed.
