The Air National Guard will perform a flyover at noon today, July 15, during the USA Cycling Mountain Bike Cross-Country National Championships in Ketchum.

Two A-10s, courtesy of the 190th Fighter Squadron, Idaho Air National Guard, will fly southbound over Bald Mountain for the start of the U23 men's race.

Greg Randolph, general manager of the Sun Valley Chamber of Commerce, said the flyover is "a fitting way to celebrate the efforts of the 1,000-plus athletes who made their way here to compete."

The championships take place through Sunday, July 17. Racing activities are centered at the River Run base area, and daily awards ceremonies take place at the Ketchum Town Square.
