Club finals are staged at Sun Valley Golf

     Kevin Cincotta and Britt Palmedo came out with the best men’s and women’s 36-hole scores at the end of the Sun Valley Golf club championship tournament for 40 golfers Saturday and Sunday, June 25-26.

     The tournament was held about two months early because of commitments Sun Valley has for its golf course in September, officials said.

     Here are the scores by flight:

     Championship Flight, gross: 1—Kevin Cincotta 154. 2—Dick Coleman 155. Net: 1—Dave Penn 140. 2—Mike Pirzynski 145.

     Second Flight, gross: 1—Pat Bauman 160. 2—John Barlow 169. Net: 1—Phil Doerflein 150. 2—Dan Tucker 154.

     Women, gross: 1—Britt Palmedo 173. Net: 1—Jill Brennan 146.

     Senior Flight, gross: 1—John Manocheo 162. 2—Bill Mason 169. Net: 1—Chris Mazzola 145. 2—Roger Wilson 148.
