Volunteers needed for Mountain Bike Nationals

Get close to the action

Breakaway Promotions and Sun Valley Chamber of Commerce are seeking volunteers for the 2011 USA Cycling National Mountain Bike Championships from July 14-17. Sun Valley will host riders and top pros from all over the U.S.

"There is no better way to get up close to the action, meet the athletes and be part of the biggest mountain bike event to hit Sun Valley," stated Oregon-based Breakaway Promotions in a press release.

Volunteers are needed beginning Monday, July 11, through Sunday, July 17, in positions that include trail crew, construction crew, registration and media, athlete support and hospitality.

Each position will involve shifts of between three and five hours, and will be located on Baldy or downtown Ketchum. Positions are filled in a first-come, first-served basis.
