Matt Zachary (3 hits, 2 HR, 3 runs) belted a 1-out, 2-run HR in the home sixth breaking a 10-10 tie. Lefty’s went quietly 1-2-3 in the visitor seventh. The Casino (17 hits) completed rallies from 4-0 and 9-7 deficits to win the evening with a doubleheader sweep for first place in the league. Casino: Sarah Torres 2 hits and 3 runs, Craig Morse 3 hits and 3 runs, Brenda Johnson 3 hits (double), Josh Jacobson 2 hits and 4 RBI. Lefty’s (21 hits): Buffalo Rixon 4 hits (HR), Dave Hausmann 3 hits and 2 runs, Kyle Rushton 3 hits (double) and 3 RBI.
KECH 15, Elevate 10
KECH (18 hits) erased a 7-3 deficit with a 6-run, 7-hit third inning. Still ahead 11-10 in the sixth, KECH tacked on 4 insurance runs. KECH: Danny Maloney 3 hits and 4 runs, Erica Hogan 3 runs, Trey Knox 3 hits (triple, double) and 2 runs. Elevate: Kellee Havens 4 hits and 2 runs, Cooper Minnis 4 hits (2-run HR, 2 doubles) and 2 runs, Dirk Zondaz 3 hits (2 doubles, HR), Travis Thelen 3 hits.

Firefighters scored in each at-bat and wound up with 19 hits led by Matt Christian (2 triples, 2 runs), Keith Potter (2 hits, 3 runs) and Morgan Uhrig (2 hits, double). IdahoBioscience: Amanda, Nate and Kevin 2 hits apiece.

Pretty much all the Casino needed was a couple of big innings—a 7-run, 9-hit third and a 7-run, 7-hit sixth. Nic Nottingham delivered 2-run inside-the-park HRs in each big rally.
