A 41-year-old Hailey man was listed in good condition Monday afternoon at St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center after crashing a motorcycle Saturday afternoon near Carey.

The Blaine County Sheriff's Office identified the victim as Kevin Klimes. Sheriff's Lt. Jay Davis said Klimes was westbound on U.S. Highway 20 when the accident occurred around 3:45 p.m.

An accident report stated that the accident occurred near the summit of Queens Crown hill, which indicates that Klimes was climbing the hill when he lost control of the bike, a black 1985 Honda.

"He went off the road for quite some time, tried to correct and ran into some sagebrush," Davis said.

Klimes was transported to St. Luke's by Wood River Fire & Rescue ambulance.
