Under the direction of coach Brian Gallagher, 16 SV5B YMCA swimmers made a splash at the May 20-21 Spring Fling Invitational in Boise.
SV5B team set the pool on fire with 12-year-old Maddie Johnson claiming first place in 100 back, 100 free, 50 free, 200 IM and 100 fly. Other first-place finishes went to Scottie Berridge, 12, in 50 breast, 100 breast and 50 fly, and Kaedi Fry, 14, in 100 back and 200 IM.
