Maxine Beckley

Longtime Hailey resident Maxine Beckley passed away on May 25, 2011, at her home with her family and minister, Les Cameron, at her side.

She was married to her friend and forever love Jess Beckley for 61 years. Their children are Ron Beckley (Bonnie) of Dietrich, Patricia Castle (Jim) of Shoshone, Janette Nord (Rick) of Hailey, Janet Love of Hailey and Mary Ann Cook (Ken) of Bend, Ore. They had 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Beckley, her grandson Luke Beckley and two sons-in-law, Art Knoepfel and Vic Lowe.

She will be remembered for her love of the Lord which was portrayed each time she could sing for funerals, weddings and gatherings in the Wood River Valley. We will miss her.

Memorial services will be held at the Community Baptist Church in Hailey at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 3.
