Star understands local schools

It is rare that a Blaine County school board candidate comes along who is educated, already possesses a strong understanding of the local school system and has extensive experience with long-term financial planning. Hallie Kelly Star embodies these qualities and so much more.

Hallie has had the rare opportunity, as an employee of the Lee Pesky Learning Center, to see firsthand what our local children need to succeed in the 21st century and has the financial experience to make sure that our district can make that happen. She believes fiscal responsibility through long-term financial planning is key for the success of the Blaine County School District.

Hallie is committed to getting the teachers the tools and continuing education they need to arm our children with the education they need to thrive in our ever-changing world. She is dedicated to making the school board even more accessible to parents and other community members and is committed to creating a school system where students are supported and nurtured, regardless of their learning styles.

Lastly, and what I find most important, is that she is a mother of three. As a parent, she has a vested interest in what types of programs and education our children are being offered in our schools. She knows personally and professionally what it takes to educate children, and she will do an excellent job of making sure your children have the resources to help them succeed in our highly competitive world.
