Marvin Robert Shipp

Marvin Robert Shipp, 70, a resident of Gooding, died Sunday, April 10, 2011, at his home.

Marvin was born on Nov. 12, 1940, in Bellevue, Idaho, the son of Arthur Bryan and Fanny Elizabeth Shipp.

He married Maxine Robinson on Feb. 22, 1964, in Hailey, Idaho.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Shipp of Gooding; one daughter, Cristyn (William) Kyes of Bellevue; two sons, Michael Shipp of Bellevue and Daniel Shipp of Florida; two stepsons, Dennis (Stacy) Dawson Jr. of Bellevue and Mitchell (Cindy) Dawson of Richfield; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, at 4 p.m. at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Wendell.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Demaray Funeral Service-Gooding Chapel.
