Paragliding Fundraiser Helps Kids


In conjunction with GoPro, Fly Sun Valley will hold a raffle for GoPro cameras and accessories to raise funds for the CloudBase Foundation. The foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by hang-gliding and paragliding pilots, dedicated to helping children around the globe who live in regions and flying sites popular with glider pilots. All the funds raised by the raffle will go specifically to projects to benefit children in Ghana, associated with the Ghana Paragliding Festival. Raffle items include two GoPro Hero HD cameras, which retail at $300, and two LCD BacPac’s, which retail at $800. The items will be raffled separately with four chances to win. Each raffle ticket is $10 and four are $30. The drawing will take place on Friday, April 15. Winners will be contacted directly and their names posted on the Fly Sun Valley Facebook page. Anyone interested in donating and entering the raffle should mail a check, made out to the CloudBase Foundation, to Fly Sun Valley, Box 6632, Ketchum, ID 83340.
