Alma Rush

Alma Rush, 92, passed away April 5, 2011.

Born Dec. 25, 1918, at Mount Pleasant, Utah, to Don and Grace Blackwell, Alma moved to Carey, Idaho, at the age of 2 where she grew up and was educated through the Carey School system.

She married Joe Rush on June 7, 1940. They had four children: Don, David, Dennis and Doris.

Alma was a member of the LDS Church and was president of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Progressive Club and the Friendly Neighbor Club.

She is survived by her sons David Rush and Dennis Rush; daughter, Doris Taylor; and sister Mary Hunt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Rush; son Don Rush; sister Dorothy Blackwell; and her parents, J.D. and Grace Blackwell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 13, at 11 a.m. at the Carey LDS Church.
