A 69-year-old West Magic woman was listed in good condition Tuesday at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise following a single-vehicle rollover Saturday afternoon in southern Blaine County.

The Blaine County Sheriff's Office reported that Juanita Carnell was transported in stable condition to the Boise hospital by emergency helicopter after the accident around 2:45 p.m. on West Magic Road about three and a half miles west of its intersection with state Highway 75.

Sheriff's Lt. Jay Davis said Carnell suffered possible upper back injuries and had to be extricated from the vehicle before being transported.

Davis said Carnell was eastbound in a 2004 silver Subaru when she lost control of the vehicle. He said the vehicle swerved back and forth on the road before it flipped and "rolled over once or twice and landed on its top." The police report did not state whether Carnell was wearing a seatbelt.

Wood River Fire & Rescue reported that the woman said she lost control of the vehicle when she swerved to avoid a rabbit.
