Kindergartners need to register

Meeting set for parents of new Dual Immersion students

Registration for kindergartners and preschoolers for the 2011-12 school year in the Blaine County School District is scheduled for Monday, April 18.

Parents interested in enrolling new kindergartners in the district's Dual Immersion two-language program can also sign up on that day.

Registration is set for 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Community Campus in Hailey for new students at Bellevue, Hailey and Woodside elementary schools. Registration for Hemingway Elementary School will be at the school from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Carey Students can register at Carey School from 1-3 p.m.

Kindergarten is an all-day program in the School District and preschool is half-day.

Parents are reminded that documentation required at registration includes birth certificates, immunization records and proof of Blaine County residency.

Parents interested in enrolling kindergartners in Dual Immersion can attended an informational meeting Thursday, April 14, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Community Campus.
