The Blaine County Education Foundation announced Monday that Becky Benson has been appointed interim executive director.

According to a press release, Benson, who is a foundation board member, will serve as interim executive director until the foundation selects someone to permanently fill the job.

"I am very pleased Becky has agreed to support the BCEF while we search for a permanent executive director," Patty Tobin, board co-chair, stated in the press release. "Her past experience with various foundations and her current knowledge of the BCEF makes her the perfect person."

Benson has been assisting Crocker with foundation activities for the past year.

The foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps raise funds to support the School District and promotes awareness of district activities.

More information on the foundation is available at www.supportbcef.org or from Benson at (208) 578-5449.
