Terry William Bear

A charismatic and funny man, a man of 1,000 jokes, a husband, a father, a grandfather and friend, Terry William Bear passed away peacefully on March 19, 2011.

Terry was born on Sept. 19, 1957, in Tacoma, Wash. Terry Bear enjoyed traveling, loved people and told the best jokes. He had a passion for reading and always had a book in his back pocket. Terry Bear had a smile for every person he met. He had the best sense of humor, and was a people person. A music and movie lover, he could speak four languages.

He never backed down from a challenge. He was a devoted husband and father, married for more than 30 years. He absolutely loved his children and his grandchildren.

We are thankful to say he is now with his loving mother, Susan Jane Bear, and his grandson, Wintyr. Terry is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl; his loving children, Starr, Tighe, Troy and Autumn; his father, Frank; sisters, Gwen, Pam and Marsha; brothers, Lenny, Tony, Rick, David and Evan; grandchildren, Katelynn, Cheyenne, Blade, Adrian and Scout; and many more extended family who miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at a date yet to be scheduled.
