Seattle, Wash. was the destination for the SV5B YMCA swim team and coach Brian Gallagher in early March for the 2011 Pacific Region North Championships.
Fourteen SV5B kids competed. The meet was comprised of 553 athletes resulting in 2,681 dives. Medals were presented for those placing in the top eight with the top three receiving medals at the awards fete.
First-place medals were awarded to Maddie Johnson in 100 IM, 50 fly and 100 fly; and Scottie Berridge 50 breast and 100 breast. Silver medals went to Lena Friesen 400 IM, 200 breast and 200 IM; Kaedi Fry 50 back; Mason Johnson 100 free; and Maddie Johnson 200 fly and 100 back.
Earning bronze medals were Mason Johnson 100 back and 50 fly; and Kaedi Fry 200 back and 200 IM. Other finishes included:
