James Martin To Sing For Caritas Benefit



James C. Martin, a bass-bartione singer, will perform for a Caritas Chorale benefit on Friday, March 18, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 19, at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Sun Valley. Martin will be joined by soprano soloist Tessika McLendon and David O’Steen, organist and choir master at St. Phillips Episcopal Church in Jackson, Miss. The benefit performance will include selections from “Porgy and Bess,” opera arias, American folk songs and black spirituals and gospels. Tickets are $25 and available from Caritas members or Iconoclast Books in Ketchum with cash or check only. Courtesy photo
