Tie One On For Share Your Heart Ball

A special “super silent” auction item for the Share Your Heart Ball benefit for Camp Rainbow Gold is a unique assemblage of fishing flies created by Brian Richter, a guide with Silver Creek Outfitters in Ketchum. Richter created the hand-crafted auction item to feature over 300 flies for trout, steelhead and salt-water fly fishing. “I called over 50 fly fishermen,” Richter said. “Twenty of them made flies to donate to the auction item. Lots of hands touched this project, at least 30 people.” Included in the array is a replica of a classic Atlantic salmon fly, tied by Steve Gobin, a notable Atlantic salmon fly-tier. Fly boxes have been laser-engraved with Share Your Heart Ball. The super silent auction will be in the Sun Valley Inn Limelight Room lobby area. The Share Your Heart Ball will take place on Saturday, Feb. 26, at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $175. The evening will feature live and silent auctions, dinner and music by the band Grooveline.
