Where are the birds?

Does anyone know where all of the birds have gone? I used to feed/watch dozens of English sparrows, chickadees, blackbirds, starlings and more all year long. However, it has been nearly two months since I have seen/fed any! Why? Where are they? What happened? Did they freeze or become diseased?

I miss my feathery friends, especially those that I saw grow up from "little puffballs that squeaked" to beautiful adults.
