Warm Springs still rocks

Your article about Warm Springs (Feb. 16) calls the area "underdeveloped" and "the lonely stepchild." Perhaps these are good features of Warm Springs. The Warm Springs side of Bald Mountain has the best skiing on the mountain, the Warm Springs Lodge and deck have the most fun social scene and après ski in the area, and the quiet neighborhood is just fine the rest of the time. As long as Sun Valley Co. continues to groom the runs and serve great food and beer at the lodge, let them develop River Run, and don't worry about Warm Springs.

Your writer touches on but fails to emphasize the irony of the fact that the whiner-in-chief is the individual who gutted the once vibrant commercial life of Warm Springs. We used to enjoy the restaurants, and we used to buy and rent gear from PK's. Now there is just another vacant lot. We'll survive going into Ketchum for food and gear, and we'll continue to enjoy the best side of the mountain.
