Thanks for supporting kids

There is a saying that "it takes a village to raise a child." As we finish another successful year with the Student Ski Program at Hemingway Elementary School, we would like to acknowledge the people and businesses in our "village" whose contributions have made this program so special and so much fun for so many kids.

A special thank you to the Sun Valley Co., whose generosity has allowed more than 300 students, plus parent volunteers, to participate in both downhill and Nordic skiing every Friday afternoon for four weeks. A huge thank you also goes to Formula Sports, PK's Ski and Sport, Sturtevants, Ski Tek and the Sun Valley Nordic Center for providing free ski packages to insure that all students have an opportunity to participate. And finally, we sincerely appreciate all of the help from the many parent volunteers and school staff, without whom this program would never happen. Thank you to our "village" for your contribution to our children.
