Your leftist opinion pieces are not factual and are exasperating. Last week, your resident liberal, Pat Murphy, strikes out again. The admonition of "don't throw stones from a glass house" does not occur to him.
He lambastes the GOP for consideration of Sarah Palin and Donald Trump as possible presidential candidates. Yet daily our teleprompter-in-chief, Barack Hussein Obama, proves that a career as a community organizer is not proper training to lead our great country. Americans do not want government takeover of health care; they do want much less government spending and reduced debt. Bankruptcy looms for the U.S.A.
On Feb. 4, the newspaper authored a misguided editorial to disparage a conservative meeting in California. Major liberal donors have assembled at plush resorts to plot campaign strategy at the instigation of financier George Soros and Peter Lewis. This has been going on for years and they have been left alone. But the organized left doesn't seem to believe that conservatives should be able to hatch their projects in peace. Last weekend, protestors assembled by Greenpeace, the Teamsters and public employee unions were bused in from L.A. This was not a spontaneous demonstration by many locals.
As Ronald Reagan said, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected and handed on for them to do the same."
