Ski Club stages Bradford GS

Feb. 1 on Baldy

As part of the club’s Reunion Week, the Sun Valley Ski Club and Sun Valley Race Department hosted the 2011 Robert Bradford Memorial giant slalom race Tuesday on Baldy.

First place in the overall women’s division went to new Ketchum resident Kristen Kozlowski who will get her name engraved on the perpetual Bradford Cup trophy. Second place went to 120-plus days-a-year skier Randi DuBois with Nancy Dreyer in third place.

One of the country’s top alpine ski racers, 22-year-old Miles Fink-Debray, won the overall men’s title. Recently-elected club vice president John Campbell was second and Alan Rickers took third. In fourth place was John Reagle.

Forty-nine skiers vied for age class and overall results under clear skies and single-digit temperatures. Counting toward the Bradford title were the fastest of two timed runs.
