A Ketchum man has been charged with rape for allegedly impregnating a 15-year-old Bellevue girl.

Blaine County Sheriff's Lt. Jay Davis said Monday that 20-year-old Erik Manuel Munos was arrested at his home in Ketchum on Friday on a warrant signed Thursday by Blaine County Magistrate Court Judge R. Ted Israel. According to court records, Munos was released Monday from the Blaine County jail after posting $10,000 bond. An initial court appearance was scheduled for Feb. 7.

A criminal complaint against Munos accuses of him of a single count of rape for allegedly having sexual intercourse with the girl, identified in court records as his girlfriend, sometime "between March and June 2010." Munos was 19 at that time.

A probable-cause affidavit filed by Bellevue Marshal's Deputy Rene Rodriguez states that an investigation was started after the girl's parents complained to police on Jan. 11. According to the affidavit, the girl, now 16, gave birth to a child later that day.

Rodriguez further wrote that Munos and the girl had been "in a relationship for approximately a year and a half."
