Nearly 150 hockey players and a good crowd of spectators joined the fun in the sun and rain Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 15-16 during the fourth annual Idaho Pond Hockey Classic outdoor tournament.

It was held over the Dr. Mar-tin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend on Christina Potters Ice Pond located at Ketchum's Atkinson Park. Blaine County Recreation District and the city of Ketchum were the primary sponsors of the tournament.

There were two divisions: "A" (advanced skaters) and "B" intermediate and below). The winners claimed the coveted "Golden Shovels."

Winning the "A" Division were McGoo's Mulies from Ketchum over Daly's Disci-plines, also from Ketchum. Taking the "B" Division were the Hornets from Ketchum, over Renegades from Boise.
