There’s no place like Sun Valley

I was born to Louis E. and Lorraine Holliday in the Sun Valley Lodge in 1947 and lived and worked and played in the Ketchum/Sun Valley area until after graduating high school in Hailey in 1965. My fondest memories are of Christmas Eve in Sun Valley. Last year at this time, I was anticipating returning in August to God's Country for our 45th-year class reunion, and I jotted down my memories of this great season spent as a child in idyllic surroundings.

Just thought I'd share a little with the people who never knew the Union Pacific-era Sun Valley.
