Public Chimes In On Airport Plan

Sun Valley Mayor Wayne Willich speaks during a Community Visioning Workshop to discuss a replacement airport for Friedman Memorial Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Wood River High School in Hailey. Willich emphasized that he believes a new airport should give passengers a “five-star experience” upon arrival all the way through transportation to their final destination. The workshop was intended to give the public a chance to help shape the guiding principles and objectives for the design of a replacement airport. A Sustainability Workshop is scheduled for February and a second Visioning Workshop in April. For more information, go to www.flysvra.com. Express photo by David N. Seelig
