Men in plaid are in Sun Valley

Sun Valley Resort will present "Forever Plaid," a musical revue, on Friday, Nov. 26, at the Boiler Room. The evening will include a gourmet buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for dinner and the show are $36 for adults and $24 for those under 12. Tickets for the show only are $10 for general admission. Community Dinners offer Thanksgiving

The weekly Wednesday Ketchum Community Dinners at the Presbyterian Church of the Bigwood in Ketchum will offer a special Thanksgiving dinner tonight, Nov. 24, from 6-7 p.m. Attendees can dine in or take a meal to go, which is available every Wednesday. In addition, Mountain Rides offers free bus service to all diners from anywhere in the valley to Ketchum. For details, call 622-3510.

Attend a interfaith Thanksgiving service

The Presbyterian Church of the Bigwood in Ketchum will host a community interfaith Thanksgiving service with Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Light on the Mountains, Our Lady of the Snows, St. Thomas Episcopal and Wood River Jewish Community tonight, Nov. 24, at 6 p.m. For details, call 726-5123.

Celebrate the holiday season

The Ketchum tree lighting and caroling party will take place Thursday, Dec. 9, at 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Ketchum Town Square across from Atkinsons' Market. Enjoy the evening with Santa Claus, music, hot cocoa, hot cider, cookies and a chance to sit on Santa's lap for a visit and a photo.

Save the date for annual Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Senior Connection in Hailey. Proceeds benefit the Meals on Wheels program and help seniors stay in their homes. The festival will begin Wednesday, Dec. 1, with the Christmas Shopping Affair from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, the Panache Fashion Show luncheon will take place Friday, Dec. 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and the Festival of Trees Gala will take place Saturday, Dec. 4, from 6-9 p.m. For details, call 788-3468 or visit
