McCleary’s done a great job

Angenie McCleary stepped into my shoes as a Blaine County commissioner over two years ago and has done an amazing job. I hope you will join me in voting for her.

Angenie works collaboratively and reaches out to the community for input. In 2009, she worked with 57 stakeholders to develop a comprehensive mobility plan for the region. This resulted in Blaine County's receiving $1.7 million to help Mountain Rides purchase new buses, vans and bus shelters, and to increase service. Way to go, Angenie.

Angenie also leads the county commissioners' efforts to provide better services to troubled youth. Because of her leadership, there is better coordination among and training for law enforcement officials working with youth who have committed a status offence, such as being a runaway or beyond parental control.

Drug abuse is always a community concern. Commissioner McCleary's expertise was recognized by the Idaho Association of Counties, which requested that she serve as its statewide representative on the Interagency Committee on Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment for the State Office of Drug Policy. These are just a few of her accomplishments!

Please vote on Nov. 2 for McCleary for county commissioner. Angenie has a great track record in serving the county and has proven her ability to get things done.
