'Oliver!' to play double shows

"Oliver!" will play at the nexStage Theatre in Ketchum through Sunday, Oct. 17. Curtain is at 7 p.m. tonight, Oct. 15, Saturday and Sunday. In addition, a matinee will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Tonight's performance is a gala benefit for the H. Edward Bilkey Memorial Scholarship Fund. The benefit will begin at 6 p.m. and patrons will be served a variety of English fare and libations before the 7 p.m. curtain time During intermission, dessert will be served.

Tickets for the gala benefit are $50 for center-reserved seating, $30 for side general seating and $10 for all seating for children. For all other shows, tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children. For details, call 726-5349, ext. 15.

Get ready for the Ski Swap

The annual Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation Ski Swap will take place Friday, Oct. 22, through Sunday, Oct. 24, at the Community School Sagewillow Barn in Elkhorn.

Admission to the swap is $1. Check-in for the public to sell merchandise will take place Thursday, Oct. 21, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Swap sale hours will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Flu shots are available

St. Luke's Wood River is now offering flu shots to the public.

At the Hailey Clinic Carbonate Room, the schedule is:

( Tuesday, Oct. 19, 8 a.m. to noon.

( Saturday Oct. 23, 9 a.m. to noon.

( Tuesday, Oct. 26, 8 a.m. to noon.

( Saturday, Oct. 30, 9 a.m. to noon.

At River Run rooms of the main hospital, the schedule is:

( Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2-6 p.m.

( Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2-6 p.m.

Cost is $20. Insurance submission is the responsibility of the patient. For children requiring a pediatric dose, please see your regular healthcare provider.
