Thanks in wake of tragedy

This is an open letter of extreme gratitude to the community of the Wood River Valley for the outpouring of support during our time of intense sorrow and grief.

As many of you know, we recently suffered the tragic loss of our daughter, Domanique. We want to express our deep appreciation for the love and support that this community has shown our family. It is impossible for us to thank each person individually, but this is a sincere personal message of gratitude for each and every one of you.

As longtime residents of this valley, sometimes we take for granted what it means to be a part of this close-knit town. We sometimes forget why we moved to this area, but the outpouring of support during this painful event has reminded our family why we stay and continue to be a part of this community. Hopefully, this experience will cause us all to take a moment and remember and value this sense of the Wood River Valley family.

Again, thank you from the deepest part of our heart.

Randy and Gina Von Heuring
