Sept. 18 results for the second annual Y Sprint Distance Triathlon presented with the help of Sun Valley Co., U.S. Forest Service (Ketchum), Lizzy’s Coffee, Bob Rosso, Brad Mitchell and volunteers. In spectacular racing conditions, participants started in the Ketchum Y pool and then took off on the bike and run legs from Trail Creek Cabin. Biking began based on run times. Racers pedaled toward Trail Creek Summit, turned around at the end of the pavement and returned to the cabin. They ran the 3-mile Bench Loop Trail behind the cabin. Results by final overall placing within gender, with split times in minutes and seconds followed by rank-by-gender in the splits, and final times in hours, minutes and seconds.
