The Sun Valley Music Festival returns to end the pavilion 2010 summer season for a show of world-class musicians. The line-up includes the Paul Tillotson Love Trio, Bill Sims Jr., Lew Soloff and headliner The Blind Boys of Alabama.

The festival will take place at the Sun Valley Pavilion on Saturday, Sept. 25. Gates will open at 4 p.m. and the show starts at 5 p.m. Tickets are $45. For tickets call 622-2135 or visit www.SVfun.com.

Living gospel music legend, The Blind Boys of Alabama will make their first Sun Valley appearance and should bring down the pavilion with their incredible vocal talent. The group's achievements include five Grammy Awards, the National Endowment for the Arts' Lifetime Achievement Award and induction into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

A career of over 60 years have made The Blind Boys of Alabama a favorite of many recording artists, including Curtis Mayfield, Ben Harper, Eric Clapton, Prince and Tom Waits. The band has appeared on the Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, the Grammy Awards telecast, 60 Minutes and their own holiday PBS Special.

Joining the The Blind Boys of Alabama for the evening will be the return of blues man Bill Sims, Jr., considered one of the best blues musicians in New York City. In addition, jazz trumpet sensation Lew Soloff will return to Sun Valley to play for the festival. Soloff is also a New York City jazz-scene fixture, known as a virtuoso on the trumpet, especially with a Harmon mute and plunger mute, but who also plays the flugelhorn and piccolo trumpet.

Finally, the Paul Tillotson Love Trio will play the pavilion and will be eager to offer the audience a sampling of its new release, "Tequila Time." Tillotson is one of Sun Valley's most well-respected and entertaining musicians. He makes the party happen, especially when playing with his band the Paul Tillotson Love Trio, which includes James Wormworth and Mike Merritt.

Expect some collaborative performances with all the musicians and lots of audience interaction. For details, visit www.SVfun.com.
