This year's Multiple Sclerosis MS Walk fundraiser will take place Saturday, Sept. 25, at Ketchum's Forest Service Park. Registration will take place at 9 a.m. and the walk will start at 10 a.m.
The walk is in memory of skiing great Jimmie Heuga, who died in February after battling MS for years. Families, friends and dogs are all welcome to the community event, designed for participants to walk about 3.5 miles on the Wood River Trail bike path from Forest Service Park to St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center and back.
The event will offer lunch and great prizes for top fundraisers and raffle prizes, including a 20-day Sun Valley ski pass, Scott mountain bike and North Valley Trails cross-country ski season pass. Raffle tickets are $5 or five for $20.

"People who support the cause are friends and family members," said event organizer Nancy Ferries. "Jimmie's philosophy was to focus on what you can do, not on what you can't do. He was an inspiration to thousands of people."
