A 21-year-old Hailey man injured in a rollover accident Sunday morning near Bellevue remained in critical condition Thursday at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
Jesse C. Gelskey was flown with a head injury by emergency helicopter to Saint Alphonsus following the accident in Muldoon Canyon that claimed the life of Tyrel H. Peak, a 21-year-old Bellevue man.
Two other victims of the crash were transported to St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center following the accident shortly before 7 a.m. Douglas K. Beall, 21, of Bellevue, received a shoulder injury and was treated and released. Kaysie Murdock Bruno, 27, of Nampa, suffered a broken femur. She was listed in good condition Thursday at St. Luke's.
The Blaine County Sheriff's Office reported Tuesday that Peak was driving a white 2005 Chevrolet pickup westbound on Muldoon Canyon Road about two miles east of Bellevue when the vehicle slid off the roadway and rolled several times down an embankment. According to the sheriff's office, none of the victims was wearing a seatbelt and all four were thrown from the vehicle.

Peak is the son of Bellevue residents Gary and Judith Peak. He is also the father of 2-year-old Hillarie Peak.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday in the auditorium at the Community Campus in Hailey. Viewing will be held today, Sept. 10, from 1-9 p.m. at Wood River Chapel in Hailey.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Hillarie's education savings account at Bank of America in Hailey,
An obituary describes Peak as someone who loved the outdoors.
"His passions were snowboarding, dirt bike riding, camping, swimming, boating and spending time with his friends, of which there are too many to count," the obituary states. "Ty's greatest passion in life though, was his only child, Hillarie."
