The tradition continues

Thousands of people turned out over the weekend for Ketchum’s annual Wagon Days celebration. In the Wagons Days Big Hitch Parade on Saturday, the Big Hitch, a train of historic ore wagons pulled by a team of mules, heads down Main Street, top. Early in the parade, the American Glory Flag Team marches in honor of Hailey-area soldier Bowe Bergdahl, who was captured by enemy forces in Afghanistan in 2009, below right. On Friday, a reception in downtown Ketchum honored parade grand marshal Clint Stennett, a longtime businessman and state senator of Ketchum, below left. Stennett’s wife, Michelle, enjoys the moment, along with Picabo rancher Bud Purdy.
