Trial starts Tuesday for felony DUI

Sun Valley woman accused of 3rd drunk-driving offense

Trial is scheduled to start Tuesday for a Sun Valley woman accused of felony DUI.

Jury selection for the case against Darcie Olsen starts at 9 a.m. in Blaine County 5th District Court. Presiding will be Judge Robert J. Elgee. Court records state that Olsen was born in 1961.

Olsen was charged with felony DUI because of two prior DUI convictions within the past 10 years. According to court records, she was convicted of misdemeanor DUI in Blaine County in 2005 and again in 2007.

The felony charge stems from an arrest by Sun Valley police on June 3, 2009.

Olsen is represented by Ketchum attorney Andrew Parnes.
