Death Notice Bob Griswold

Bob Griswold, a member of the original K2 Demonstration Team in the 1970s called "The Performers," died on Aug. 12, 2010, in Tacoma, Wash. He was 64.

A longtime Sun Valley resident and Sun Valley ski instructor for 20 years, Griswold was a member of the K2 Performers with Bob Burns, Charlie McWilliams, Jim Stelling, Pat Bauman and John Clendenin. Team director and filmmaker Dick Barrymore made several movies about the team's escapades—both on and off the slopes.

A memorial service for Griswold will be held in Sun Valley on Saturday, Sept. 18.
