Bard Lovers Are But In A Dream

On the left, Puck, played by Mac Harbaugh, is in servitude to Oberon King of the Fairies, played by Jamey Reynolds, for the nexStage Theatre's production of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." "It's a European fairy tale," said director Bruce Hostetler. "The hero goes out to the woods, learns something, and comes back to culture changed." The production is extremely funny and very familiar. It is set in the park, just as Shakespeare wanted, said Hostetler. "It's about young lovers figuring it out and growing up, and we all need to grow up." "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is part of the 10th annual Sun Valley Shakespeare Festival. It will be preformed at Forest Service Park in Ketchum from Thursday, Aug. 26, through Sunday, Aug. 29, at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 and children under 12 get in free.
