Louise Vaglivelo

Louise Vaglivelo, 99, passed away Friday at St. Luke Health Services, in Oswego, N.Y. Born Feb. 20, 1911, in Stratford, Conn., daughter to Emilio and Julia Constantino, Louise grew up in Stratford and lived a short time in Pennsylvania, Idaho and New York.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Vaglivelo; a daughter, Rae J. Butler; brothers, Julius and Joseph Constantino; and her sister, Matilda Secchirroli. Louise is survived by her brother, Geno Constantino and sisters, Quinto Scrofani and Justine Garrick, all of Stratford, Conn.; grandchildren, Patricia (Don) Backman of Oswego, N.Y., William (Kathy) Butler of Hailey, Idaho, and Michael (Debbie) Butler of Cody, Wyo.; great-grandchildren, Ali Butler of Boise, Idaho, Austin Butler of Lake Tahoe, Nev., and Stephen Butler of York, Pa.

Graveside services will be held at the Ketchum (Idaho) Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 28, at 3 p.m. Arrangements are under the care of Wood River Chapel. People can visit www.woodriverchapel.com to sign a guest book and leave a message for the family.
