Thank you, St. Luke’s

Living in New York City, going to any ER room is an experience. Not only visually, but the time waiting to be seen. Regardless of one's condition—be it bleeding, coughing, fainting or whatever—the wait can take hours!

Not so at St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center. Within 10 minutes of walking into the ER, I was being attended to. All necessary tests were taken and within an hour, Dr. Deb Robertson had correctly determined my condition and set me on the road to recovery. I was admitted to the hospital and my very own single room, which was better than your average New York City hotel room. The nurses could not have been more caring, more attentive and more available.

Thank you to Annie, Holly, Susie, Correy and Susan. Thanks to Dr. Julie Lyons and Dr. Tracey Busby, too. And to Healing Touch staff, who visited with me and shared their love and healing energy.

I am back in my Sun Valley home, feeling great and grateful that this community has St. Luke's, which can be counted on, whenever needed.
