Rollover sends man to hospital

Fairfield man injured south of Ketchum

A 41-year-old Fairfield man was treated and released at St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center following a single-vehicle rollover late Saturday night on state Highway 75 south of Ketchum.

The Blaine County Sheriff's Office reported Monday that Edward Hall was southbound on the highway in a green 1999 Jeep Wrangler when he lost control of the vehicle near the intersection of Cold Springs Drive. Sheriff's Lt. Jay Davis said the Wrangler skidded along the shoulder for about 125 feet before striking a power pole and rolling sideways one-and-a-half times.

The accident occurred at about 11:30 p.m.

Hall was transported to the hospital by Ketchum Fire Department ambulance.

Davis said the accident was still under investigation Monday.
