A 31-year-old Bellevue man was treated and released at St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center after crashing his motorcycle early Saturday morning at the intersection of state Highway 75 and Gannett Road.

The Blaine County Sheriff's Office reported Monday that Sergio Sanchez Gonzalez was southbound on the highway and lost control of his black 1991 Harley-Davidson when attempting to turn left onto Gannett Road. The accident occurred at about 1 a.m.

Sheriff's Lt. Jay Davis said Gonzalez suffered facial lacerations and a separated shoulder. He was transported to the hospital by Wood River Fire and Rescue ambulance.

Davis said the sheriff's office is investigating to see if alcohol contributed to the crash.
