Peterson/Tidwell 19, Power Engineers 4 (5 innings)

Peterson/Tidwell broke out the bats for its first win of the season in its final regular-season contest. Pat Ballou (4 hits, 3 runs) was a factor with two homers. Peterson's 6-run fourth and 7-run fifth extended a second-inning 7-1 lead and made for an early night for everyone. Peterson/Tidwell: Sean Guisasola 3 hits (2 doubles) and 4 runs, Tracy Peterson 2 doubles and 2 runs, Randy Lundergreen triple and 2 runs, Patrick Peterson 2 hits and 2 runs. Power: Frank Shields 2 hits (HR).

LDE Elec/Little Wood 10, Poggi Elec/Red Dog 7

Little Wood finished an unbeaten league season with a closely played game against Poggi. It was 4-4 after the first inning and LDE was ahead only 9-7 in the fifth. Little Wood: Sean Harrington 2 doubles and 2 runs, Morgan Uhrig 2 hits (double) and 3 runs. Poggi: Alex Lindbloom and Jamie Stone 3 hits and 2 runs apiece, Mike Beall 2 hits.

LDE Elec/Little Wood 21, Mahoney's Bar & Grill 6 (6 innings)

Little Wood's Rick Karlovich (4 hits, 4 runs) had a huge night from the #3 hole with a grand slam HR in Little Wood's 7-run second and a 2-run blast that gave the winners a 14-2 lead in the fourth. Anna Edwards (3 hits, 3 runs) and Greg Edwards (4 hits, double, 4 runs) followed suit in the #4 and #5 spots, so the 3-4-5 positions in the LDE batting order went 11-for-14 with 11 runs scored. Little Wood: Buddy Peterson 3 hits and 2 runs, Wendy Hosman 2 hits (double) and 2 runs, T.J. Peterson (grand slam HR and 3 runs). Mahoney's: Brad Dredge solo HR, Sue Weller 2 hits and 2 runs, Rich Lang solo HR, Jeff Jones 2 hits (double).

Sawtooth Paint/Car Quest 21, Power Engineers 5 (5 innings)

Big sluggers in Sawtooth Paint's 21-hit barrage were Jeff Schroeder (3 hits, double, 3-run HR) and Brent Anderson (grand slam HR). Sarah Benson (2 hits, 3 runs) got aboard from the #2 hole while Shannon Baker (3 hits, 3 runs) did some damage from the #8 spot and LeighAndra Roberts (3 runs) had a good game batting #10. Sawtooth Paint: Bryan Burrell 3 hits and 3 runs, John Rathfon 3 hits (2 doubles). Power Engineers: Jason Marenda and Dustin Feigt 2 hits each.
