Light on the Mountains to host benefit

Light on the Mountains Center for Spiritual Living south of Ketchum will host a benefit fundraising event with a barbecue, live music by FourStroke Bus and R.L. Rowsey, silent auction, raffle and other activities on Saturday, July 24, from 4-8 p.m. Amy Jonas will entertain kids in the kids' corral. Tickets are $10 and include food, drinks and music. Save the date for Y Classic

The Wood River Community YMCA's annual Golf Classic Tournament will take place on Saturday, Aug. 7, at the Elkhorn Golf course. The fundraising event costs $2,500 per golfer, which includes two dinner tickets. Registration and breakfast is at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. A barbecue lunch will be served from 12-2 p.m.

In addition, the Wood River Community YMCA Classic dinner, auction and entertainment will also take place on Saturday at the Club Ten tent at the YMCA in Ketchum with the Classic Golf Tournament awards presentation, silent auction, dinner, live auction and live music. Dinner tickets are $375 per person and $3,000 for a table of 8. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with awards, cocktails and silent auction. The dinner and live auction begin at 7:30 p.m. and live music entertainment at 9 p.m. For details, call 928-6706.
