KECH 18, Elevate 10

KECH batted around with 7 runs in the second and third innings for an early 16-8 cushion. Leadoff batter Danny Maloney enjoyed a huge game with 2 HR, triple, 4 runs and 3 RBI. KECH: Annie Byerly 4 BB and 2 runs, Trey Knox 2 hits (double), 2 runs and 5 RBI, Scotty Carlson 3 hits (HR), 2 runs and 5 RBI, Lenny Joseph double, triple and 2 RBI, Shannon Flavin 2 hits and 2 runs, Tanis Reyburn double and 3 runs. Elevate: Cooper Minnis 3 hits (3-run HR, 2 doubles) and 3 runs, Carrie Philbrick 2 hits, Nate Hart 2 hits (double) and 2 RBI, Travis Thelen triple, double and 2 runs.

Firefighters 11, Principal Recruiting 6

Matt Christian (2 doubles, HR, 3 runs) led the 16-hit Firefighters barrage. His inside-the-park HR capped a 5-run, 6-hit fourth for a 10-4 Firefighters advantage. Firefighters: Keith Potter 2 hits (double) and 2 runs, Linsey Nicholson 2 runs, Steve McCoy and Linda McMahon 2 hits apiece. Principal: Geoff Gardner 2 doubles and 2 runs, Tom Moreland 2 hits (HR), Rod Watson and Sharon Payne-Bolton double and triple each.

Principal Recruiting 22, KECH 7 (5 innings)

Number #3 hitter Tom Moreland (3 hits) cracked a pair of HRs with 5 RBI to spark the 28-hit Principal attack. Principal: Leadoff hitter Geoff Gardner 5 hits (3 doubles), 3 runs and 3 RBI, Sue Mulcahy 3 hits (double) and 2 runs, Rod Watson 3 hits (double) and 3 runs, Jim Carlsen 2 hits and 3 runs, Kevin Garceau 3 hits and 2 runs, Sharon Payne-Bolton 2 doubles, Kellie Havens 2 hits and 2 runs. KECH: Trey Knox 2 hits and 2 runs, Scotty Carlson 2-run HR and double, Jeff Heincke 2 hits (HR), Jamie Rivett 2 hits.

Casino 10, Lefty's Bar & Grill 9

Led by slugger Nic Nottingham, Casino got ahead and stayed ahead—and took over first place in the league. The winners went up 6-2 with a 4-run third as Nottingham (3 hits, 3 runs) ripped a 3-run HR. Lefty's got 3 runs back in the home third on a 2-run HR off the bat of Anthony Anderson (2 hits, 2 runs), then Nottingham added his second round-tripper, a 2-run blast, for a 10-5 Casino lead. Lefty's rallied with 4 runs in the home fifth sparked by a one-out triple by Anderson but Lefty's never got another runner past second base and fell by a single run. Casino: Cody Lampl 3 hits (double) and 3 runs, Mark Belanger 2 hits (triple), Austin Bristow 2 hits and 2 runs. Lefty's: Brenda Blackwell 3 hits and 2 runs, Dave Hausmann 2 doubles, Tony Mallane 2 hits.
